The Great Escape Festival 2009 (Brighton)
Norwich Arts Centre are programming a stage at this year’s Great Escape Festival to showcase 4 Escalator performers.
Bearsuit, Fever Fever, Girl In A Thunderbolt and Rory McVicar will be performing at the Fortune of War at 1pm on Saturday 16th May.
The Next Stage
Three Days (7th, 8th and 9th May) of the East’s Best Escalator Music and Literature Talent.
The Next Stage was a showcase of musicians and spoken word artists from the East of England destined for national and international acclaim in coming years.
Curated and presented by Norwich Arts Centre and New Writing Partnership, the region’s most talented spoken work artists and musicians presented work developed during their time with the region’s prestigious Escalator Talent scheme.
Featuring five bright talents from the world of stand up poetry, spoken word and live literature and six bands covering acoustic, electronica, contemporary and world music, The Next Stage 2009 was part of the Norfolk and Norwich Festival’s ongoing commitment to developing the very best regional talent.
